In 1998, we first packed tomatoes and peaches as California Fruit Packing Company in Yuba City In our second year, we expanded our tomato line by building a state-of-the-art products kitchen. Encouraged by intensifying market interest, we purchased equipment assets and leased the Riverbank tomato facility in 2001. Operating as California Fruit and Tomato Kitchens, the new facility allowed us to nearly triple our sales volume through an improved product line, greater capacity and broader customer base.

In 2006, tomato production operations moved to a state-of-the art facility in Santa Nella. We honed our skills, reorganized the talents of our colleagues and created plants with cutting edge technology ensuring our strict quality and productivity benchmarks. To capture this transformation and more clearly describe our business purpose, California Fruit and Tomato Kitchens was born from the best of the previous two companies as well as their names.
